Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Goodspeed platform operated by Goodspeed ("we," "our," or "us"). By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Account Creation and Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU) to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

2. Subscription and Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at signup.
  • Free plan requires no payment and includes limited access to the platform.
  • Paid plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@goodspeed.app for refund requests.

3. AI Credits

  • Each paid plan includes a monthly allocation of AI credits.
  • Credits are used for idea scoring, research reports, requirements generation, and app building.
  • Unused credits do not roll over to the next billing period.
  • Additional credits may be purchased at any time starting at $10.

4. Code Ownership and Intellectual Property

You own 100% of the code and applications generated through the Goodspeed platform. This includes all source code, assets, configurations, and database schemas generated for your apps. You may use, modify, distribute, and commercialize this code without restriction.

We retain no ownership interest in your generated apps. Each app is pushed to your own GitHub repository using standard open-source technologies (React Native, Expo, TypeScript, Supabase).

The Goodspeed platform itself, including the GAS template, pipeline code, and scoring algorithms, remains our intellectual property and is not included in what you receive.

5. App Ideas

  • Ideas discovered through the public pipeline are available to all users and are not exclusive.
  • Ideas you submit for scoring are visible to you and may be used to improve our scoring models (anonymized).
  • We do not guarantee the commercial viability of any scored idea.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform to build apps that violate applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our scoring algorithms or pipeline code
  • Use automated scripts to scrape or abuse the platform beyond normal API usage
  • Resell or redistribute access to the platform without authorization
  • Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise our systems

7. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance and occasional downtime may occur. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned maintenance in advance.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Goodspeed shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the platform.

Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be error-free, that generated code will be free of bugs, or that scored ideas will be commercially successful.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with reasonable notice when possible. Upon termination, your access to the platform ends, but your generated code repositories remain yours.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you have previously accepted the Terms, we may ask you to re-accept updated versions.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then binding arbitration if necessary.
